Cicciobello Love 'n' Care is a large 50cm, soft-bodied doll, who responds to tender loving care. Cicciobello has high play value with random functions meaning that the doll interacts in a different way every time. Cicciobello has a high quality outfit and comes with a wide range of interactive accessories. Cicciobello goes into stand-by if he stops being played with.
Cicciobello is poorly he is crying and his cheeks are glowing red. Check his temperature with the special ear thermometer, it will turn red when he is feeling unwell. Maybe he needs a drink? Find the right one to make him feel better, whether it is his milk, juice or medicine, if he is still crying maybe he needs an injection? When he is feeling better he stops crying just to make sure he is fully better check his temperature and the light goes green if he is 100% better. Now give him his dummy and he’ll fall fast asleep.

I bought this for my two and a half year old daughter when our son was born. When you take the dummy out the baby cries and cries. You are supposed to use the different bottles to find out what the baby wants, but if you don't leave them in for long enough, nothing works, you give up and put the dummy in. My daughter loves dolls, but is not really interested in this one. Not worth the money.

Poor baby blue! The doll is a great size, and really realistic, but the whole concept is sad- a poorly baby, who needs injections and medicine... and when you lose the bits (which, with four kids often happens) the poor thing doesn't ever recover, but remains feverish and ill with no way of making him feel better. I find it all a bit too depressing. My wee girl loves him though.

Since seeing the ad for this doll on TV at the end of last year, it is all my daughter wanted for her 5th birthday.
I agree, it is a sad concept, and the extra yelp the doll gives when you inject it up its bottom is a bit harsh. But it does provide kids with a lot of caring duties, which my daughter likes.
I'm wondering if the recommended age for this doll at 3+ is a bit young, as the initial combination you must use to quieten the feverish doll is quite complicated for young kids to remember. You have to take its temperature, use each bottle in turn for a certain amount of time, before injecting it up its bottom.
I wish you could get other clothing to dress it in and maybe a nappy or two, just to add to the interaction children could have with the doll.
I also wish it was in pink, because poor Cicciobello is now known as Lisa and he clearly isn't happy about that either.
(Oh yes and the crying might scare your cats if you have them).
