This is the definitive reference book for anyone looking to find an authentic Winston Churchill quotation. Richard Langworth has spent many years tracking down and verifying his sources which are all fully referenced. For ease of use, he has also categorized the quotations under a large number of subject headings. With so many politicians and others using Churchill to bolster their arguments, this book will tell you whether they are genuine quotes or have been made up by some modern-day speech writer. If its not in Langworth, then the probability is that Winston didn't say it!

This is full of Churchills quotes and speeches for every event in his life. It is a very interesting read.

This book is being missold on Amazon because it's not an auto-biography. The synopsis alludes to it being a collection of WSC's quotes, but the cover art would suggest it's an auto-biography - it's not! It's just a reference book. Don't buy it if you're after a good, interesting, absorbing, sit-down read!
