Format:Audio CD
The minute I put this cd on the deck I was transported back to a world of cricket on the village green and bees humming lazily on long, summer's afternoons. It comes with a most informative booklet, so one gets rather more of an idea of the technicalities of what one is listening to. An essential piece of equipment this for anyone far from home. The only reason I give it four stars is more to do with my untutored ear rather than any fault in the cd itself, as one would need to have considerable experience of bell-ringing to detect much difference between the various tracks. These, by the way, were recorded at different churches in London and elsewhere.

This C D brings our church alive, with the sound of the Bells.It is a lovely start to the Mass and calls the people to Worship.

Yes a well made copy of the bells but very boring especially the first half. No doubt good for bell ringers but not for listeners. We wanted it for our 4 year old grandson who is enchanted by the church bells in our village which have a lighter happier ring than those on this recording.
