This was the first time I read a Christian novel, and I was not disappointed by the story. This is very well-written and the more I was reading the more I wanted to know what was going to happen. Reshonda raised issues of life that few people like to deal with. This is a very honest book. Well done!

Well I read the book and I have to say that I did not enjoy it as much as I thought I would, I truly agree with one of the other comments made, this book I felt did not encourage me as a Christian, or have any morals which I felt could. The emphasis of the book did not seem to be on GLORIFYING GOD!!! but rather on worldly persuits. I'm a young christian, and have not ben saved for long, but even whilst reading this book, certian parts of it I did not agree with, in terms of what was being written about, even my sister who was recently saved read this book, and she had to put it down becasue she thought it did not represent a Christian in the best light. Personally I found it to be like watching Eastenders, there was too much drama, every storyline you could think of was in there.

Just to those new Christian believers, or those looking for a Christian read, remember we are meant to be the light and salt of the world, if you're reading somthing and you're spirit is telling you NO!!! this is not in line with Gods views, then please put it down.

I hope someone can be blessed by this. Believe me there is a lot more to God than what is placed withn this story, and if you want to grow, reading stories of such a nature won't help you to grow to where God wants you too, but moreso to where the Devil wants. Its called compramising (which is what this book does) and its certainly not the way.

It was a shame that very few of the characters had a true relationship with God (or had much desire to).
