wUNderful!,
By TheManMonkey (North East England) - See all my reviews

Another fine album from the worlds best ever agit-prop band! The samples and beats laid down are funky and sublime, and then add the cleverest lyrics out there....... For those who are new to Chumba then prepare to be excited and educated. For those old friends then the journey continues. Highlights must be The Wizard of Menlo PArk with that sample, and We don't Want to Sing along with its latin feel and trumpets, I did it for Alfie with its clever mix of different styles and catchy chorus. And as for the politics - 5 stars! Buy this album!

Upbeat, bouncy, soothing, politically inspired music.......Chumbawamba at their best.As usual this CD can be listened to by just about anyone. Their brand of music is an excellent way to get politics across to the masses. The lyrics are to the point, blending in remarkably with the catchy tunes. Buy this CD and decide.

Still singing along,
By A Customer
This review is from: Un (Audio CD)
On first listening I thought this a little below their best. By the third time I was singing along just like always. Anarchy is still my favourite, but this is GOOD STUFF! and still growing on me. Right from the first track ("The Wizard of Menlo Park") it's got me singing along, and of course "We don't want to sing along" HAS to be sung along with. Irrelevant? Sold out? Not in my book. They're true to their message, and it's no more "irrelevant" now than it ever was.
My partner says it makes her feel young again, makes her "give a goddam" again, reminds her to be outraged. If it does that it's got to be doing something right.
