So should you consider buying this set of DVDs? The answer is yes!!! I think this show is the best thing on TV, and I had the added bonus and pleasure of seeing the last 1/4 of season 2, and all of seasons 3 & 4 for the 1st time, as here in Australia, we are only upto ~episode 17 of season 2. I think the actors are all brilliantly cast, it's very well written and full of humour which can range from being just straight out funny to having a bit more subtlety with references to movies and their characters, products like Zunes or the background instore bigscreen TV content which maybe linked into the episode plot. I know it appeals to my sense of the absurd, especially with characters like the "The Buy More" employees and of course the wide variety of spies that are always hunting Chuck.
And of course let us not forget what the show is about, namely Chuck, a Buy More nerd herder[...], who has inadvertently become an unwilling CIA/NSA intelligence asset. This has necessitated the deployment of a secret protective detail made up of the deadly CIA agent, Sarah Walker, and the slightly burnt out NSA assassin John Casey. Their job is to protect and help Chuck keep his secret while still maintaining his normal life. They do this by fitting into his work and social life.
And of course let us not forget what the show is about, namely Chuck, a Buy More nerd herder[...], who has inadvertently become an unwilling CIA/NSA intelligence asset. Chuck is one of those shows which really has everything.
Drama, intrigue, action, romance, high-tech gadgets, apprehension, self-doubt, subterfuge, espionage, comedy, family ties that go way under the carpet, car chases, even a little MacGuyver-esque ingenuity, not to mention more geek flavoured pop references than you can shake a stick at!
All my thumbs are up for this show and the way it's developed and kept me entertained every step of the way.

Great product and I have recieved it from amazon in good time, the only issues are that the product picture does not show that you are getting the original series in a boxset not in one box and the number of discs is 20 not 25: you can check from the other series boxes.

I am assuming if you are thinking of buying this boxset you already know the series. I had already bought season 1 + 2 but it was cheaper, at the time i wrote this, to purchase the full set 1-4 rather than just 3 + 4. a bit miffed that season 2 still does not have 3d glasses. well packaged and arrived ahead of estimate.

I read reviews for chuck and was in the mood for something to watch. I never saw it really advertised on TV while it was on. So took a gamble and bought the box set.
Never has a gamble paid off so much, it's ruined every other show for me as I no longer look forward to anything as much as series 5.
Such a good show, it has everything you would want from this type of show. People expect to be laughing every minute of every episode when they see "comedy". Yes, it is hilarious a lot of the time, but it has so much more. Action, romance, twists and turns. It really does have everything. Great cast who click well together on and off screen.
Will have to buy 5 when it comes out and I highly recommend people watch the rest before it's out. Best show on TV.

I love Chuck, have ever since i first saw it there is nothing to dislike. If you have never seen an episode of Chuck then just buy the box set you wont be disappointed. Just wish there was more than 5 seasons!!

I hadn't watched this show prior to buying this DVD box at a very good price. I was not disappointed. It's fun and exciting and has great plot twists throughout the seasons. The characters are both charming and interesting (the supporting cast also great), and the sets are also wonderful. If you liked Alias or like Nikita, but wouldn't some humor added to the mix, then this is the show for you.

What a great show. Looks like it could be cheesy rubbish, but it's far from it - moving, funny, gripping, I couldn't get enough of this show and would reccomend it to anyone.
