So should you consider buying this set of DVDs? The answer is yes!!! I think this show is the best thing on TV, and I had the added bonus and pleasure of seeing the last 1/4 of season 2, and all of seasons 3 & 4 for the 1st time, as here in Australia, we are only upto ~episode 17 of season 2. I think the actors are all brilliantly cast, it's very well written and full of humour which can range from being just straight out funny to having a bit more subtlety with references to movies and their characters, products like Zunes or the background instore bigscreen TV content which maybe linked into the episode plot. I know it appeals to my sense of the absurd, especially with characters like the "The Buy More" employees and of course the wide variety of spies that are always hunting Chuck.
And of course let us not forget what the show is about, namely Chuck, a Buy More nerd herder[...], who has inadvertently become an unwilling CIA/NSA intelligence asset. This has necessitated the deployment of a secret protective detail made up of the deadly CIA agent, Sarah Walker, and the slightly burnt out NSA assassin John Casey. Their job is to protect and help Chuck keep his secret while still maintaining his normal life. They do this by fitting into his work and social life.
And of course let us not forget what the show is about, namely Chuck, a Buy More nerd herder[...], who has inadvertently become an unwilling CIA/NSA intelligence asset. Bought this after seeing the series five finale. Obviously the series five DVD won't be out for a while but in the mean time it's good to have this to tide me over. I was a little worried that this box set wouldn't include the special features that come with the separate series releases. Turns out this was premature. This box set simply collects each individual series (each is housed in it's own DVD case) into one box set. Every disc and special feature is just as it would be if you bought all the series separately with one key difference: this box set is a lot cheaper. For under thirty quid it's a steal.
The show itself is brilliant. Chuck has always been a show you'll either love or fail to appreciate. Great cast. Great writers. Great direction and packed with nerdy references and special guests for fanboys like myself to enjoy. It's by no means a realistic depiction of the spy life, but it's fun, laugh out loud funny and full of action. If you haven't seen it before you should check it out. If you're still undecided on whether or not you like it you should watch a few more episodes and if you have in fact seen it then you probably know for sure whether or not you want to buy it already.

If you're going to buy a Chuck box set, it may as well be this one. It's cheap, comprehensive and you'll be hard pressed to find a better deal on other sites. Believe me, I checked.

Bought season 1 at the end I needed more and found seasons 1-4 on Amazon, brilliant series good characters great story line... it'll be a long wait now until series 5 is released as it's just start in the States

The best show ever!
Watched this several times it's soo good, so sad that they have discontinued the show. Defo worth buying and this set is half the price if you were to buy each series individually

Hilarious TV show - amazing value box set
Chuck is a must see TV show, funny, quirky with lots of action and romance and lots of twists and turns. I'm addicted to this show. Watch it!!
