I have 170ish cds and not so many dvds and was looking for a compact, cheap solution. And this is both of those things. Now it is assembled and filled it looks just fine and people say it looks alright. It's not like its a focal point!
However, you shouldn't expect too much, after all the price was excellent. I put it together myself and it took about 40 minutes, however some of the holes were the incorrect size and took a lot of persuading to get one of the racks in. The coating is also very easy to chip off the front so be careful. You should also note that you have to place it against a wall because the backs of the unit are not finished in the beech veneer.
I never thought I would move it once I had put it in it's first location, but I did, and without unloading it, I was terrified it would collapse, but just one of the metal racks popped out and went straight back in so all was good. I certainly wouldn't stand a cup of tea on the top though!

Excellent storage unit for the price, plenty of space for cd`s and dvd`s, the unit itself was esy to assemble and came next day delivery. I bought the same one a couple of years ago from argos and paid twice the price so overall I can recommend this item.

I have bought 3 of these recently. I have found that they are very compact and can fit into the smallest space, but they hold many CDs or DVDs and even small books. 2 of them are in bedrooms, and a small portable TV/DVD player can easily fit on top.

Cheap and nasty
