Solid, free and fun set of songs. Fantastic guitar and vocals around a mixture of rock and lunacy. Lyrically either complex or fun, it's free from blues rock standards. Instead it's inventive and teeters between taking the piss and absolute genius. Can be retro, heavy, light, it never settles. Best album, for me this year. It's one of those that you can play start to finish and want to play again.
