These cases are exactly as described by the seller, and exactly what I could no longer find locally. At under 22p each, they're a very good deal along with bulk CD-Rs.
They are "neat" in both square area & especially depth, so the reviewer who said not to buy them if you're looking for replacements for broken original cases is right....they won't hold the typical booklet (more than 4 or 8 pages) though the space is the same square area, have no "behind the cd" space to fit in the back cover with tracklisting & spine, though you could trim down the back cover & slip it into the front of the case.
However, I don't think that's what they're marketed as.
They'll hold a cd (or DVD) with a very thin front cover (there are tabs to hold it in place). They click shut, and stay shut. They won't fall apart at the hinges of you drop one, and I seriously doubt they'd be damaged even if you used one as a frisbee. You can flex them a bit (not advised with a CD inside!), though they're very robust, so they're perfect for mailing.
They'd also be ideal if you want to take cd's into your car & don't have much space, and don't use a zip-bag cd holder.
For me, they're ideal to store CD-R's or DVD-R's, with either a typed or scanned front sheet. Ideal for storing/mailing photos, or data discs. Great value for money.
