Product Description

The popular card game Tichu is now available on your Android device. Tichu is a strategic partnership card game for which your goal is to be the first to use all of your cards. It may seem like a simple game, but ask anyone who's grown up with it, and he'll tell you it is a challenge for beginners and experts alike.

Your computer opponents will pull no punches, calling Tichu or Grand Tichu nearly 90% of the time. They also look for ways to go out at every opportunity. This does not mean the gameplay is incredibly slow. The computer players will go as quickly or slowly as you can handle.

If the difficulty proves to be too much, you can turn on the in-game hints and a view of your opponents cards to see why they make the plays they do. Whatever your skill level, you will find Tichu to be a fun and challenging game.

5.0 out of 5 stars Addictive game 7 Sep 2012

My daughter's boyfriend brought a Tichu deck of cards to a Sunday dinner & gave us the basics of the game...he repeatedly won. The game: The whole deck is dealt out to 4 players. There are 4 "special" cards which have different purposes. You try to make the best hands & go out before anyone else. If you think you have a better chance to go out before anyone else, you call "Tichu" or "Grand Tichu" for more scoring points. Harder than you think. Unless you have a few of the "special" cards and a lot of Aces, runs or pairs. I was hooked. Only trouble was, with the actual CARD game, you need 4 people to play. So, I wasn't getting much practice, except on Sundays.

I went online & researched different techniques for playing against others. Then I saw this app for the Tichu Game for my Kindle Fire and thought I'd try it. It IS improving the way I play & I find myself not wanting to quit playing it. I even find that I am winning the game more frequently. YEAH!! The game gives you the opportunity to play against 3 other players, so you can play whenever you want & not just on days where there are 4 people who know how to play the game.(alright, the other 3 players are actually the computer)(I can't wait until they come out with an update where you can play against actual people like Words With Friends),

The game gives a summary of the hand, but needs to be more detailed for us beginners. I want to know why the other team got more points when I called Tichu & won the hand. I guess there are different ways to count the points & the only issue I have with the game would be a better explanation of the scoring.

It was definitely worth getting for my Kindle Fire & you will find yourself playing for hours..I LOVE IT!!!

This is my favorite game. I play Scrabble, Mah Jongg, Bridge, Canasta, Wizard, Five Crowns, and others, but this is the one that I am "addicted" too!

This is a fantastic game. It's based on an old Chinese card game. It's an odd mix of Rook and Poker. Only 4 players, though, so you have to have enough people. But it's really addicting.

We bought this game and it is the best thing. Now we found the app for it and it is alright. It is difficult having your partner be a computer tho.
