Wouldn't you buy a book with your name on the front. A tight , well written story. Annie owns the cafe in town, knows everyone and when a unknown person kills the resident troublemaker. Annie calls her friends to start their own investigation. A divorced husband arrives in town. Good short read, good characters. Enjoy it.

3.0 out of 5 stars Hmmm 26 Dec 2013

I liked the prologue and really looked forward to the who dunnit aspect. We were given all the information which was good and a conclusion.

So you say why only 3 stars, I just wasn't drawn into why I would like or dislike the cast of characters other than the murder victim. For me the story was words on paper.

I do commend Ms Bromley for at least trying and hoping her next endeavor has more life soul to grab the reader in and take them on an exciting journey.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good first effort 16 Aug 2014

I enjoyed the small-town aspect of the story, which is usually what I look for in this type of book.

It was really too short to get to know the characters, but I liked what I learned.

The mystery was not very compelling, but everything was neatly wrapped at the end.

I enjoyed visiting Sweetwater CO enough to go back again.
