Format: Hardcover Verified Purchase
The theory and techniquess presented in this book are creative, insightful and supportive. They have been valuable both in my counselling practice, and to my personal development.

The author trained with the originator of this therapy, and presents it with clarity and ease. IFST enables clients and therapists to identify and 'present' different aspects of personality with acceptance and safety - Clients feel empowered to rescue, heal and restore themselves in a real and positive collaboration with a therapist. As a purely personal read, it is fascinating; to fully benenfit from the therapy, it would be helpful to have an experienced counsellor working with you. Although expensive, this book is worth the financial stretch to purchase. I fully recommend, and I hope you enjoy it!
