My daughetr got this doll for Christmas after seeing the TV adverts for her, and was really looking forward to playing with her.
However, like a previous review stated, the doll had to be placed in exactly the correct position to activate the crawling or walking mechanisms, and for a 3 year old this is pretty impossible. It also doesn't 'walk' as well as it seems on the TV ads, so I do think my daughter is a bit let down.
Also, she is MUCH smaller than you would think, I also purchased lots of baby clothes at the same time as this doll and hardly any of them fit her!
Her body is so rigid that it is very difficult to dress her, and her joints are very stiff so it is hard to get her into positions so you can dress/undress the doll, which is surely part of the fun of having a dolly!
Mainly I was disappointed in the size, I expected her to be a bit more sturdy and life like sized but she is not even as big as a real baby.
Overall, 3 stars as she is quite robust but I would have liked a bigger more flexible doll that did what it said and was easier for a young child to operate.

My little girl has numerous dolls but really wanted this one after seeing it advertised on the tv. Perhaps I didnt read the description fully but when we put
batteries in the doll it appears that it will only walk on laminate/lino floors and not very well on carpet. This was a little bit of a let down. I think my little girl was a bit disappointed really with it as to get it to do all the actions i.e crawl, walk etc you have to make sure the limbs are exactly in the right place to start it off and to try and get a 4 year old to understand that is a bit hard. They just think if they lie it down it will start and it doesnt. You need to position it just so. She still likes it and enjoys walking round the house with it but I think compared to Baby Annabel and the ELC doll Millie it doesn't rate as exciting as those two. Thank you.

To be honest it's pretty rubbish as 'walking' dolly.
The walking/moving is fiddly and unreliable and without the animation you are just left with a hard plastic doll with clicking joints.
3yr old was still pleased with it in xmas present- it's another doll for the collection after all & like any well meaning parent she loves all her little ones, no matter how flawed..

rubbish
rubbish toy bought for daughters christmas put new batteries in it and all it does is babble none of the actions work very disappointed and so is my daughter
