All in all not a bad DC brick. Using it to power a guitar FX board and done its job so far. To date iv not experienced ANY hum or background hiss which tbh at this price range is pretty rare. The construction isn't bad either...i mean sure its not made with high grade steel but having toured around with it over the last 3 years I've never had any problems... like many things : take care of it and it'll take care of you.

One thing I have found is that the power leads don't fit snugly inside the socket shells and they do have a tendency to fall out when you shift it around a bit but its not a huge issue - its easy enough to put them in before a show and providing you don't decide to kick your pedal board across the the stage then it will stay secure for as long as you need it to. The brick itself is also pretty compact and lightweight which is great for practicality and portability - fits nicely inside the neck pocket of soft case guitar bags for example.

Other bricks ARE better don't get me wrong : im not about to compare this to a "T-Rex Fuel Tank" for example but (although an excellent supply) I just get the feeling I'd regret paying £155 for one when I could just as easily pick one of these up to do the same job. I WOULD SAY THOUGH : if your planning on doing ALOT of unforgiving touring then one of the "above" bricks is a better bet...... they can survive Nuclear Wars and will give a better performance under rigorous use than these little fella's.

anyways in short : i haven't experienced any of the problems the other buyers have had but if I did i wouldn't hesitate to just throw it out and buy another one. They are cheap, noiseless and do what they say on the packet : no frills or fancy buttons just plain old plug-in & power on.

Nomore batteries for me now I have this, really relatively inexpensive when you think about how much I spend on batteries, comes with enough leads to power up to 10 pedals, great product :)

This is an excellent bit of kit for the price. I seldom use effects pedals for gigging anymore but bought this with a Kinsman pedal board for storage/ occasional gigs and it works well with no irritating hum. Would suggest it is adequate for anything up to medium use.

Noisy. Does the job. but noisy... I found the picture of the power supply to be deceiving. It's light in weight, plastic, and feels cheap.

This product is good for what i need it to do however it can be very noisy through a rig(especially guitar) however it's almost perfect for my bass rig, powering up to ten pedals without a problem and making it easier to have all my pedals in one place! Saves you money in the long term as you don't need to buy so many batteries and goes nicely on a pedal board

I was originally using just a daisy chain to power my effects pedals but found there was a lot of hum. After buying this, not only can I have more pedals powered from one socket, but it also significantly reduced the hum.

This is ideal for powering a lot of pedals on one board.

I've recently purchased a few more guitar pedals, and wasn't looking forward to the expense of buying 3 more power adaptors, so decided to get one of these to simplify down to one plug. It works perfectly, I've not noticed any humming or interference yet.

It feel a bit light, so I'm not sure how long it would last if you bashed it around a bit, but at this price it's definitely worth a punt!

It does the job very well, comes with loads of connectors to power up to 10 pedals. The only downside is that it doesn't feel very study, but at this price you shouldn't expect it to be built like a tank.

If you look after your gear this will be fine but if you plan on touring loads or have really heavy feet get something a bit stronger
