Great Overview 3 Nov 2007
Format:Paperback
If you are spending hours going through web based puppy information sites are are a bit worn down by it I would recommend this book. Great to see in one place al lthe main breeds and useful information about exercise, grooming etc. Each breed includes a section on the main issues with each breed. certainly helped us make a decision.

We had never owned a dog before and there were several dogs we might have chosen on impulse. This book really helped us decide on the correct dog for our lifestyle and level of experience. Having said that, it almost put us off altogether! There probably isn't a perfect dog for the inexperienced owner with cats, but it certainly saved us from making a really bad choice.

Choosing the right dog. 20 April 2009
Format:Paperback
This book profiles many different breeds of dogs and definately helped me narrow down the breeds I wanted to consider and look at more. I would have liked a little bit more information about a few of the breeds, alot of the information is the same depending on the size or group of dog but still found it quite informative.
