Brilliant book for anyone considering keeping pigs or just interested in them as it is an easy read and full of colour plates which makes it a delight to pick up and browse through.Bought as a present for someone who has kept pigs before and is just about to start again, so not just aimed at the first timer. The book disappeared numerous times during the day as none piggy people picked it up to read.

I reccommend this book for anyone starting out in pig keeping- including keeping as pets. This is a lovely book, easy to read and with lots of lovely photographs throughout. It includes a chapter on what you need to purchase before buying your pigs and a section on pig health. All the pig breeds are included, especially the rare breeds.

An overall informative guide to anyone wanting to set up and keep pigs. Probably not the 'complete handbook' but a good start none the same.
