I have found this book very straightforward, it gave me all the basic facts about cholesterol, and how to lower it. It is a good starting point if you want to learn more, without being bogged down with too many complicated details. The second half of the book is made up of recipes designed to lower your cholesterol. Usually I find recipes in this kind of book pretty useless, but I have found several of great interest, and they have turned out delicious enough even for my fussy 10 year old !! I am very pleased I bought this book, and would highly recommend it.
