5.0 out of 5 stars Chocolates galore 16 Aug 2011
Format:Paperback
A librarian read this book to us, up to the part where John gets the box of chocolate and slips it into his mouth. I just had to get the book to see what happened next especially as you could tell it was no ordinary chocolate in such a big box.I reserved the book, and had to wait six months maybe more until the book came to our library. It really is a chocolatey book. Children will love it.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Magic Touch 22 Aug 2002
Format:Paperback
This enchanted story about John will have the taste buds going in reading for every child. John is a chocoholic and wants nothing more than chocolate but when suddenly everything he touches becomes chocolate he soon finds himself not quite the fan he thought he was. As John's life becomes interrupted by his glove and skipping rope turning to chocolate and his inability to do his maths test as his pencil turns to, yes you got its, chocolate, the humour of this book will have children giggling all the way through.
Following John as he encounters chocolate syrup and milkshakes, as well as chocolate on its own allows the children to taste and visualise what is happening to the main character in the book. With the magical twist at the end all children (and adults) will want to read the book again and again. This is a tasty little book which you can really get your teeth into.
