Product Description

Review

"A chocaholic's delight for its wonderful illustrations and excellent text. Without overwhelming the reader with an encyclopedia and academic approach, this is an informative and enjoyable reading experience for anyone who savors chocolate. The authors bring credentials as dietitians to the book, but this is really just fun to read while you learn the benefits and joys of chocolate." --Bookviews.com, November 2008

I am an osteopath in west london, and have been also researching into benefits of cacao

it is amazing, and great to have a book which covers chocolate not only as we know it, but from the health benefits area.

Keep up the good work- have also tried raw cacao!! a bit bitter, but fascinating the history of chocolate

open to hear about more resources in this area

A well-rounded discussion no cookbook collection will want to miss 14 April 2009
By Midwest Book Review - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover
There are numerous chocolate cookbooks on the market - but this one identifies elements of savoring chocolate to gain the full chocolate flavor and explore chocolate experience, supplementing a lively history of chocolate uses and places with insights on world chocolate specialties, science, and even some recipes. It's a well-rounded discussion no cookbook collection will want to miss.

A Mouthwatering Chocolate Adventure 6 Oct 2008
By Leigh Rosenorn - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover
As I was reading this book my mouth wouldn't stop watering. It is a must read for anyone who enjoys chocolate. After reading this book, not only will you be able to tell all your friends interesting facts about the history of chocolate, you will be able to host a chocolate tasting party, make chocolate bath and body products, and create some amazing recipes as well. But the best thing of all, by reviewing the health benefits of chocolate, it gives everyone a reason to eat more of this tasty treat!
Great book for High School report 8 Dec 2011
By Leslie E. MacCoy-Clayton - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover|Amazon Verified Purchase
My daughter had a school report to discuss the revolution of an item or thing. We decided to do the History of Chocolate. It started out as currency, to a bitter drink, to a treat and now has health benefits. This book was extremely helpful to her. The book is well written and the pictures are beautiful.
