Product Description

Chocolate in all its diverse forms must rank as one of the greatest pleasures in life. Its glorious aroma and appearance, whether decorating an elaborate gateau, poured over ice cream or baked in biscuits, set the taste-buds tingling even before the first melting mouthful. This superb collection of more than 70 chocolate treats is every chocoholic's perfect dream. Six chapters cover every way of using this unique and magical ingredient: Cakes & Gateaux: Hot Desserts: Tarts, Pies & Cheesecakes; Cold Desserts; Little Cakes, Biscuits & Bars; and Sweets & Truffles. The superb recipes range from the light-as-air Meringue Gateau with Chocolate Mascarpone to the lusciously satisfying Magic Chocolate Mud Pudding, an from the exotically beautiful White Chocolate and Mango Cream Tart to the blatantly sinful Malt Whisky Truffles. Eating these fabulous confections is, indeed, the stuff of dreams. Easy-to-follow instructions and step-by-step illustrations make cooking with chocolate very straightforward, and the front of the book covers all the basic techniques, such as melting, tempering and piping chocolate. Every recipe is shown step by step and includes a mouth-watering colour photograph of the finished result. Whether you want to say "thank you", celebrate a special occasion, tell someone that you love them, treat the family to something special or simply spoil yourself, in this book you will find a chocolate fantasy to match your mood.

It's alright 9 Dec 2008
By OK
Format:Paperback
It does have some recipes that I've seen else where, even the pictures were the same. Other than that it's a decent full colour recipe book with a picture for each recipe. It has nice things to stare at and it has nice things to make. If you like making desserts then you will probably have other recipe books which may contain the same or simular desserts.

I'll post some of the names of the desserts as soon as I get it out from under the couch!
