About the Artist
T.C. Matic were a Belgian rock band formed in the early '80s by Arno Hintjes (also known as simply Arno) and Jean Marie Aerts (who would go on to produce albums by Urban Dance Squad and Absynthe Minded). They played a mix of New Wave, Blues, Funk, Hard Rock, Avant Garde and even some French Chansons. Their eclectic mix and experimental approach to music would have a great impact on later Belgian bands such as dEUS and Zita Swoon. Their third album 'Choco' from 1983 contains the song 'Putain Putain', which at the time became a European anthem of sorts for the underground. So it's a good thing that in these turbulent times Music On Vinyl is making this album available on vinyl for the younger generation.
