Chloe's performances are nicely poised, tonally interesting and well balanced. Her technique is masterful and tasteful. Although it is virtuosic, nothing is brash or 'arrogant' in her delivery. My only criticisms (very slight and perhaps unfair in their comparison to the all-time greats) are that despite her maturity in presentation, her interpretation of both Nigun and Schindler's List lack the intrinsic 'Jewishness' that they require (as per Heifetz, Hassid and Perlman etc); and her Paganini and Sarasate are almost too perfect so that they tend to lack spontaneous drama and dynamism. But given her age and the many excellent qualities of this CD, I unhesitatingly give it a 5 star rating.
