I find this book to be the perfect companion for my patients. It has clear explanations of how the body works, how this effects your back and your life, and how chiropractic can be an integral part of living life at a different level of wellness. My patients borrow it for the exercises, which are clearly explained and well illustrated, but it is Leonard McGill's combination of information and humour in an easy to read format that causes them to order it for themselves. Perfect for the transition from a patient concerned with back pain to a patient creating a life of wellness and higher quality.

Easy-to-understand directions for helpful daily stretches.,

This book contains many really good stretches that help alleviate pain and some which help to get you going in the morning. The author made all the written directions very clear and easy to follow. The photos are also very helpful. I've been using these stretches for several months, and enjoy them.

This is a great book to own - if you do some of the exercises everyday, you'll feel the difference. Of course it's also handy to have around for when you just need to get rid of a pesky backache once in a while. I bought lots of these and gave them to people I cared about who often had back problems - that's how much I like this book.

This is a somewhat older book, so I wonder if any of the information is outdated. Still, it's filled with good, practical advice and exercises. I find it very useful when I'm suffering from neck tension and headaches. I've always been leery of chiropractic, so I put this book off even though I've owned it for years. But there's nothing to be hesitant about -- it's all exactly what the title says: simple and natural.
