Product Description

Product Description

Classic fried rice, beef with black bean sauce, chicken chow mein and deep-fried ice cream balls - few have not experienced the delights of Chinese cuisine. This work demonstrates that an authentic Chinese meal is as quick and easy to prepare at home as it is to order in.

As with all their books,& I own most of them, the recipes are very easy to follow & actually turn out as the pictures that accompany each recipe.
The Glossary gives you the terms, names & alternatives that allows anyone world-wide to follow the recipes easily.
This particular book is used in various schools & cooking classes within Australia as a standard manual.
Our daughter, is in the hospitality trade & I'm buying these books for her own use.

Chinese takeaway food which is easy and tasty 24 Feb 2012
By D B Crisp - Published on Amazon.com
This was the first cookbook I started out cooking from and I still use it. It contains all the standard takeaway store chinese food but with much better results, Lemon chicken, honey chicken, beef black bean, chicken and corn soup, beef with cashews and deep fried ice cream can all be found here. Easy to follow step by step recipes and photos, an oldie but a goody.
