I was really impressed with how many dialects/languages were included in this book. The information included is all essential and the book is compact. However, that doesn't mean that the sections are lacking at all.
I would definitely recommend this as an essential to anyone considering travelling in China.

This book is not set out in the best way, with 7 sections of each dialect and a none too friendly layout. It barely came out of my bag, me and my friend instead relied totally on her cheap phrase book. (sorry can't remember which one it was exactly!)

Really Good it contains LOADS of other chinese dialect not only mandarin (cantonese and loads more) a MUST HAVE! Pretty thick book and I would suggest it to anyone that wants to travel around China
