An emotional 4 song album. The acoustic version of Born To Run is more thought provoking than the original. and is a very powerful song. Also the best version of tougher Than The Rest that I have ever heard, with the gorgeous Patti doing a superb duet with her husband, the Boss!

I can't agree with the previous 2 star review. This CD contains what for me is the definitive version of Tougher Than The Rest - far more powerful than the studio version on Tunnel of Love. Chimes of Freedom is also a worthy addition to any Bruce collection whilst the acoustic Born to Run is interesting if understandably not as powerful as the original. If you are a Bruce fan and you haven't got this CD yet then I suggest that you buy it!

Only four tracks but all wonderfully different and Live which always brings the best of Bruce out. "BE TRUE" is the highlight here sounding pumped up and beefier than the recorded version to be found on Tracks, but let us not forget to mention the brilliant accoustic version of "BORN TO RUN"(a brave rendition of this song bearing in mind the significance of this track. The other two songs are also fantastic in their own right. "TOUGHER THAN THE REST" is sung beautifully with Patti Scialfa and Bob Dylan's "CHIMES OF FREEDOM" sounds great. Buy this title now, it's essential!

As far as 'Chimes of Freedom' goes Bruce's version is good but too rock and roll. It needs to be sung acoustic but nevertheless still an excellent version, second only to Mr. Read more

Outstanding live recordings
Superb selection of songs. Wonderful to hear the upbeat rock treatment of Chimes of Freedom, a Bob Dylan sog. Bruce, you remain the best!!
