This the story of Stefan & Lukas Korsak. Stefan has spent his life searching for his younger brother Lukas. The book kicks off with Stefan finally finding Lukas and breaking him out from the special school he has been living in.

At the heart of it, this is a story about becoming brothers but along route, we have mafia, genetic manipulation, mad scientists, assassins, friendship and betrayal- what's not to like?

It sort of reminds me of Sam and Dean from Supernatural, except without the supernatural.

I enjoyed this too, although the truth that comes out about the relationship between the 'brothers' left me a little sad.

I'd not read any other books by Rob Thurman when I bought this and can honestly say that I wasn't too impressed to start with. However once it gets going I suddenly realised I had been hooked and couldn't stop reading it! It is a funny/sad/action packed book which I would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys the 'supernatural' side of things on the book front. I liked it so much I went on to buy the Cal and Niko Leandros books!

If you are a fan of Cal & Niko Leandros then Stefan & Lukas Korsak will quickly worm their way into your heart with their adventures in Chimera.I had no idea what to expect when I started this novel but Thurman's quick wit, engaging, often hilarious dialogue and the story of long-lost brothers who find each other again left me wanting more.Chimera is just an astonishing novel and I could not put it down.I would reccommend this novel to anyone who loves fast-paced,highly-charged thrillers with characters one can root for.
