The camera seems to work fine was using it in lowish light and was not too bad (was only testing it out in the house) The sound on playback was horrific it was some weird noise disturbance and there was no sound(background noise) when I recorded. I have uploaded a video the video is boring but just demonstrates the noise the room is really dark so video quality is not great but that is not the cameras fault but just make sure to listen to the noise if that is important to you.
Apart from the noise it seems to be a neat piece of kit for the price, considering you get a bike mount and a helmet mount. I tried using two different memory cards sound was still the same.

I am really pleased with this cam. Before ordering I was a little unsure as to the build quality at this price, but the casing is sturdy and lightweight, my last headcam was heavy to wear on my head. Picture quality is good, standard VGA resolution but clear in daylight. I'm yet to try it in lower light. It came with a nice range of fittings for head, helmet and bike. All in all, one of my better purchases. Will probably go for the HD version in the New Year.

I was a bit concerned when I tried it out at home, with relatively poor video quality and really poor sound quality. However, I was reasured after speaking to a very helpful person at Chilli Tech, and after trying it with the handlebar mount when offroading recently, I was really happy with the quality on both. I wasn't expecting to hear much after my first trial, but actually you can hear everything we are saying as we are charging along the track, which actually isn't the best thing, as I did swear a lot! I have uploaded to YouTube on the low email setting with MS Movie Maker, and actually it is pretty good. I also uploaded one at the higher setting, which is obviously better, but at 300mb it took a while.
I can't wait for the next outing, which could be a night ride as we have just bought some night lights!!!
