Product Description
Works well as both an ornamental and medium hot chilli variety. The dark foliage contrasts well with the 2cm long purple fruits, which mature through yellow and orange to red. Looks great in containers - very colourful plant that is as equally ornamental as it is edible ! Medium hot chillies are produced productively. The peppers are all different shades of purple to orange and red all at the same time. A Very pretty pepper ! Plant height reaches 45cm. Quantity - 12 Seeds

Medium hot chilli to 45cm tall? Our 2 are over a metre tall and still growing! And the chillis are blisteringly, ear-wax-meltingly hot.
The seeds took a really long time to germinate - over a month - but eventually all the seeds we tried to sprout germinated well. We only potted out 2, because we didn't have room in the conservatory for more, and a good thing too! These plants are huge and incredibly prolific. I picked 1/2 lb of the purple chillis to make a tabasco-esque sauce and it hardly even made a dent. Even if you aren't a fan of hot chilli, this is a very attractive shrub, with a very even, spreading canopy, dark green leaves and the amazing array of purple, orange and red upright flame-shaped chillis. I definitely recommend this variety and this seller!

Seeds arrived on time, but came in a plain packet so are they the correct ones ????. I shall only know after the pepper has fruited.

I bought these seeds around August time, when I was overexcited by my first year's chilli plants fruiting and have recently planted them and have had no problem with germination.
I planted them in a small £2 propogator from B&Q in the cheapest soil they had and after 2 weeks I have 10 nice green seedlings. Not bad from 12 seeds in January. They are in the warmest part of the house (next to the tortoise lamp), and the thermometer in the tortoise table reads about 25 celcius at the minute.
Hopefully they will all grow into nice plants that I can share with my friends and family.
I may add to this post if I ever think about it, for a report on the plants.

Disappointed !!
I don't think I was sent the right seeds as what I have ended up with is a plant that looks nothing like a chillie , but a giant weed !!

Chilli Pepper - Twilight - Medium HOT ! 12 seeds
Bought a pack of 12 seeds which arrived promptly. Planted 3 in April, 1 sprouted, so far only 1 green chillie still growing on the plant. Quite disappointed
