Product Description

Product Description

How do vets look after poorly animals? Alex, Hannah and the vets is a charming film from award-winning children s documentary-makers, Child s Eye Media, which tells the story of Alex and Hannah s amazing week working with the vets. Watch a dog, cat and rabbit being examined; meet a poorly calf and lame horse; see the owls, ducks and baby hedgehogs at the wild animal hospital. As well as live action at the vets surgery, on the farm and at the wildlife hospital, the DVD includes a fun education section, with imaginative ideas for role play, singing and games. Entertaining as well as being highly educational, this DVD supports learning in the Early Years Foundation stage and Key Stage 1, and is suitable for children aged 3 to 8

Review

We bought 'Vets' as a 'must have' as my little one wears a vet costume most days and adores animals! He watched the DVD over and over so we bought all the others. They are all excellent and he finds them all very absorbing (although the vet DVD will always be his favourite!). I will definitely be recommending them to friends. --Sharon Dack, parent

These DVDs are the best I have ever seen for young children. My youngest child is completely fascinated by them, and asks to watch them again and again. --Mark Aspden, father of 3

'Excellent...invaluable..part of the 'People who help us series' which was the the overall winner of the multimedia category in the Practical Preschool Awards 2009' --Practical Preschool Awards tester 2009
