From the Author

I explain various techniques and the reason and explanation for the different needles. I also provide helpful tips, a stitch glossary, and a design section with ideas for designing your own motifs, plus a sample of knitting graph paper for you to use. The patterns I enjoy knitting the most are the top down seamless raglan, which I worked and changed until I had the proportions just right. It is like magic cast on so many, work the neck ribbing, divide for sleeves, front and back, and viola, a sweater. The pattern seemed to work for any size sweater knit the yoke longer and the sweater is larger. Once you have the process down, I encourage you to use the basic sweater and try designing for yourself. Branch out and change colors, designs, add stripes or textures and create your own original sweater.

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy, fun and seamless patterns, 29 July 2000
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Children's Sweaters and Hats Knitting Seamless Raglan Top Down: Step by Step Patterns and Photos (Richdesigns) (Paperback)
This book helped me to create cool and fun patterns on my sweaters. I have been knitting since I was nine. This book shows you how to create any kind of pattern you can think up. It shows you how to do different kinds of patterns while you are using different colors. See I have her first book and it was great and worth the cost. So was this book. I love the way you don't have to sew the peices together. Whoever likes to try new things with knitting than you have got to try this book!

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy, Beautiful Sweaters!, 7 Mar 2010
By Anami Bremer - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Children's Sweaters and Hats Knitting Seamless Raglan Top Down: Step by Step Patterns and Photos (Richdesigns) (Paperback)
These sweaters are perfect for kids. And easy to knit! Because they are seamless designs, they are comfortable for active children, who tend to pull sweaters off by pulling on the sleeves! No popping seams to destroy your work. Quick to knit and comfortable to wear, these patterns will soon be among your favorite sweaters to make.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Variety & Instructions, 6 Jan 2011
By BookLady - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Children's Sweaters and Hats Knitting Seamless Raglan Top Down: Step by Step Patterns and Photos (Richdesigns) (Paperback)
Just when I thought I had all the raglan instructions I would ever want, I found this little gem. The range of patterns was more than I realized. The directions are clear and easy to follow. Notes on adapting the patterns for older children and adults are a real plus. There are patterns that call for different yarn weights and designs that range from one color to multi-hued yokes. A great addition to any knitter's library.
