A disappointment 25 Aug 2011
By P. J. Seyler - Published on Amazon.com

I feel terrible criticizing young Miss Yu, but as a parent, I wish I had known about the weak writing before buying the book. One of the big perils of self publishing is self-editing, which clearly didn't work so well here. When we read this book to my young daughter, we have to edit on the fly, or explain why "the gruff was gone from his treats" instead of the gruff being gone from his THREATS. The same is true when the dragon "began his ascend" instead of when he began his ASCENT. My daughter is just learning to read, and will read and hear these words many times. We would sure like them to be right, without typos and grammatical errors.

Big fan of the author but this book is not for younger children 16 Feb 2012
By Leah S. Stites - Published on Amazon.com

My son is 2, so this book is too old for him. I tried to read it to him and he simply lost interest. I have tried on several, well spaced out occasions. He simply is not interested. My son loves books with kids in them and loves books about Dragons. He loves "Dragon Alphabet soup" as he calls it. I will continue to try sporadically to get him to listen to it but, I would not suggest this for a 2 to 3 year old child.

A good preschool dragon story 25 Jun 2011
By A&D - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
This is a story about a dragon and a girl who become friends. First, the girl is afraid of the dragon, but then she helps the dragon and they learn to become friends.
The illustrations are nice.
If you are looking for some nice and easy to read fantasy book for the preschoolers - first graders, then this is the book for you.
