YOU HAVE 10 SECONDS TO MAKE A DECISION: Let A Kidnapper Take Your Child, Or Watch Your Son Die. Choose!

Sadie O'Connell is a bestselling author and a proud mother. But her life is about to spiral out of control. After her six-year-old son Sam is kidnapped by a serial abductor, she nearly goes insane. But it isn't just the fear and grief that is ripping her apart. It's the guilt. Sadie is the only person who knows what the kidnapper looks like. And she can't tell a soul. For if she does, her son will be sent back to her in "little bloody pieces".

When Sadie's unfaithful husband stumbles across her drawing of the kidnapper, he sets into play a series of horrific events that sends her hurtling over the edge. Sadie's descent into alcoholism leads to strange apparitions and a face-to-face encounter with the monster who abducted her son--a man known only as...The Fog.

*CHILDREN OF THE FOG has a unique tie-in to Tardif`s newest thriller, SUBMERGED.

5.0 out of 5 stars OMG. WHAT A FANTASTIC READ. 10 Mar 2012

I downloaded this book when it was free but I would of paid for it because its a brilliant book. The storyline is consistent, the characters believable. It's quite spooky in places and my emotions were up and down all the time. No other book has made my emotions jump from sad to happy like this book has. It's a fantastic book and I didn't want it to end. I can't find the words to explain how good it is. You won't be disappointed if you buy this book. I've only had my kindle for about two weeks and I must say it's one of the best things I've bought. It's opened my eyes to different authors which I would'nt normally of heard of. Buy this book I would give it more stars if i could. What a great author.

5.0 out of 5 stars Children of the fog 10 Mar 2012
By Banshee

WOW! what a book. I totally agree with the previous reviewer about the emotions that you go through reading this book. It had me hooked from the very first few sentences and I literally couldn't put it down until I had read it all (much to the annoyance of my children who were waiting for their tea) The writer had me totally immersed in the character and I even cried with her during the story. This is definately a book that should not be overlooked and I will definately be keeping my eyes open for more of this authors books.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Brilliant and Intriguing Read! 4 Aug 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
This is a bone-chilling book that will leave you breathless and simply stunned. Sadie, the heroine of the novel, struggles to comprehend the mysterious disappearance of her strangely quiet son and the terrifying decision she has to make in order to save him...a compelling plot which catches you off guard and keeps you on edge until the very last page.

just love her books. Supernatural thriller is a real page turner. A mothers intuition and love for her child drove her on a certain path, a path of fate.

"One fine day in the middle of the night, two dead boys got up to fight. Back-to-back, they faced each other, drew their swords and shot each other. A deaf policeman heard the noise, got up and shot the two dead boys. If you don't believe this story's true, ask my blind uncle. He saw it too." "e;
