I first heard about this pop/electronica band listening to "enter space capsule ". Then I bought the cd and I found that most tracks were just as good as space capsule. It's a really chilled album !

When I first bought the CD, it was not as I expected, instead I was left slightly confuzzled, wondering why their music was different in every single song. After lsitening to it again though I found it rather comforting. Within every song is a surprise. I quite like it. Never has a band been able to come under so many different genres. Oooh I sound like I am selling it =)
awesome cd that captures the gerling magic 27 Dec. 1999

after hearing their first single 'death to the apple gerls', i thought, wow these guys are an awesome rock/punk band.

after hearing their second single 'enter space capsule', i thought, wow these guys are an awesome electronica band.

after connecting the two songs, and seeing them live, i fell in love.

'children of telepathic experiences' delivers a musical feast that shows the diversity of this amazing australian outfit that is gerling.

altho it doesnt come close to comparing to a live performance by them, 'children' shows the huge musical talent they are capable of, even if it only shows the audio side of it.

a great album for any electronic or a guitar-based-rock lover, or anyone else who wants to hear something new and fresh.
top stuff from a very tops aussie band.
Young band that has some good tunes and interesting music, 8 Oct. 1999

I bought this cd after listening to their live performence on Dylan Lewis's show "The 10:30 Slot". Their song, Enter Space Capsule (radio disko remix) hit me and i had to get up and dance. The rest of the cd is not much like this song though. If you buy it you will not get what you expect but you will get a great cd. They experiment with some grunge styles as well as some cool bass on tracks like " I heard an echo of a cobra's bite" which is a pretty sweet track. If you are not a totally pleb, Alanis, Ricky Martin loving idiot and you appreciate good music then this cd is for you.
