Product Description

Murderous children go on the rampage once more in the fourth film to be inspired by Stephen King's original short story. A young medical student stumbles upon a malevolent force that is threatening to take the souls of a midwestern town's children. It is up to the junior doctor to save the town's kids before they are turned into merciless killing machines.

Children of the Corn IV is another surprisingly worthy entry into the series. Taking the route of kids getting a fever in a small town, there are some good death scenes and special effects and the acting ability of the kids in this one is better than the third movie. Naomi Watts and Karen Black add a little star quality and Watts shines throughout compared to the rest of the cast showing why she has become an A-lister. OK, it's not an award-winning performance, but still great. I suppose I can recommend this one to any fans of the series even if the 'corn' plays a lesser role in comparison. Better than 2 and 3, but not as good as the first. 3/5

This one was okay as a sequel and it had some frightening scenes. It goes over the top with those wierd double-dreams. A boy who is dressed up like Isaac comes to town and starts turning the children against their parents. Somebody has to save the day. Too bad it wasn't the trio from Children of the corn 2. It has some killings you will have seen before. One from 'I bought a vampire motorcycle' It is worth the money though and is an o.k sequel. Not as good as 2 or 3 but about the same as 1.
