My grandchildren enjoyed the stories. Other children would, also. My granddaughter was able to read most on her own, which is good practice for her.

These books are wonderful to read to the kids, and I guess you can say I'm an expert at reading to children. I raised four of my own, and I know have ten grandchildren and 1 great grandchild and no I'm not old as the hills. I downloaded these on to my Kindle which was quite easy and I've been reading these stories to my grandsons, and my granddaughters mostly. They're simple to read and colorful, and some of the stories are so imaginative, and yet exciting for them. Actually it's all in the flip of the voice. I really like these for the girls they're at that stage where they can read to me so we take turns on the pages. These books are colorful, and such good stories to hold their interest and a few to even teach them something about themselves.
4.0 out of 5 stars Children Book Set review 9 Mar. 2014

Sarah's Wishful Day (used to be Once Upon a Pencil) is about a girl who finds a magical pencil growing from the ground that can make whatever she wishes for and draws come true. Whenever Sarah draws something for herself another pencil grows but when she draws something for someone else two pencils grow. I loved Sarah because she has a great imagination and reminds me of my five year old daughter. I give it 4 out of 5 stars.
Dancing With The Sun is rhyming, fun and quick to read. It's about dancing of course and the pictures are all very similar but so beautiful. I loved this book and give it 5 stars.
Fabulous Me is about Emma and why she loves being herself. I think it shows that doing little things that you love or just spending time with your family can be fabulous. This is a 4 star book for me.
Sparkly Me is super quick to read. It is inspired by the authors five year old daughter and I love that because I also have a five year old daughter that loves sparkly things. The last page is my favorite I think it's so sweet. I give this book 4.5 stars.
Who's Under The Bed is told in the monster's point of view. The monster is scared there might be a child under his bed. I think it is a great bedtime story for kids that are scared of monsters. I thought the story was so cute and it made me laugh. I loved it and I would give it 5 stars!

All five books are really good. My #1 favorite was Who's Under The Bed because the monster made me laugh. As a set I would give them 4.5 stars all together.
5.0 out of 5 stars Delightful Book Series 6 Jan. 2014

It is delightful to think that a monster child might be frightened that there could be a child under his bed. Truly imaginative. Fabulous Me...Everyone should feel good about themselves! Dancing with the Sun is a cute girly-girl book about a little girl who loves to dance in her tutu. Once Upon a Pencil is a delightful book about sharing and dreams that can come true! I would have loved this book as a child. Very imaginative and one that children will definitely want to read over and over. I am looking forward to sharing these with my grandchildren this week. Thanks Ally for a wonderful series of learning tools.
