Again, a good read - it seems to complete the stories of the Sullivan clan.
The references to the other members revives the other stories.

When I bought this book I had know idea it was about the Sullivan family and the last in the series of their family's stories. Was over the moon and couldn't wait to get into the story. If you read the first book 'A Daughter's Secret' you'll be hooked on the Sullivans from childhood to adults. Their mother was so evil towards them even when they were adults and it makes for real good reading. I've read all of their stories now and this last one didn't disappoint. Loved the ending. Just my cup of tea. The only sad thing is that it's the final one ... would be great if their stories could continue like those of Mary Jane Staple books about the Adams family. Anne Bennett is a brilliant writer bringing fact into fiction on the way families lived and were brought up especially during WW1 and WW2. Can't praise her highly enough.

A good book but a bit too long and drawn out.
