I brought this book for my friend who lost her mum days before christmas '09, hoping that she may find solace and words of comfort from all the many people who have lost loved ones. She thought the book was brilliant, the stories were beautiful and made her think about things she hadn't thought of in years. She laughed and cried, reading some many times over and it is something to help her in her grief. A worth while book to read in sad times.

A truly gorgeous book, I love the Chicken Soup books, I was introduced by a friend who gave me one to read and have loved them ever since, after losing my dad last year and looking after my mum for 7 months who has Alzheimers, when your dealing with loss, sometimes it helps reading everyone elses stories, which is where these books come in, they are full of lovely heart warming stories, which actually makes you realise that when someone dies, they still do live in your heart, memories and soul for ever ... thankyou for whoever wrote these books they are truly beautiful and a definite must, as they are all little bite size stories so you can pick up and read one, then flick on and read another one!! .... xx
