This book is such a refreshing change (to coin a phrase) from the usual murder mysteries. Tension and humour flow through the book until right at the end when all the action happens. I adore Alma Fritchley's style of writing which draws you into the book instead of pushing you away. I can't wait to read the rest of the series.

Maybe it's just me but Alma Fritchley reminds me very much of the early Val Mcdermid books for women's press. Fritchley has a lighter touch like a more mature Mcdermid in the Brannigan series.
I enjoyed them all. Letty has an attractive, light-hearted quality that draws you in as one of the other reviewers commented and the series is ideal for holiday reading.

Well-written and quite fun. Look forward to seeing where the next installment will take her.
