Product Description

SALE!!! The Winchester coop has a galvanised metal pull-out tray for very easy cleaning, there is a floor under the pull out metal tray, this is an important safety feature stopping your birds coming to any harm while you clean the pull out tray. The health of your birds is the most important factor you should consider when selecting your coop. Don't buy a coop who's roof can't be opened. Why hygiene!!! It's essential that you can access all parts of your coop to treat/check for lice, red mite, and other parasites which will hide under perches, felts roofs and the joints in tongue-and-groove woodwork. This is the ONLY coop available on Amazon, with a roof that opens. Make sure any coop you purchase can be well ventilated and has ventilation SLOTS/HOLES this is vital for the well being of your birds. The run also has a sliding door which allows your chickens to enter and leave the main house. With this design you needn't open the main door of the Winchester coop to let your chickens in and out, reducing the risk of your hens escaping out the main door. We believe this is a very important feature and we would always recommend that your coop has this, as it saves a lot of effort. The short ramp also makes it easy for your chickens to go in and out of the house. Note the high quality tongue and groove panels used. The nesting area of the Winchester coop is raised off the ground, which will stop rats and other rodents from nesting underneath. The Winchester coop is completely fox proof and your chickens will be thoroughly protected by the reinforced galvanized wire. The Winchester is suitable for many small animals not just chickens, for example, Rabbits.

Please take notice that this coop is not fox proof. The nesting box has a bottom section that can be pushed up by the fox as we found out when our lovely bantams were massacred in their "safe" coop. Why are firms selling these? Unfair on all.

Very difficult to put together as some screw holes were missing.

Very flimsy materials. The floor of the enclosed space falls out every time it is moved. And the door which separates the enclosure from the run is pushed away on an almost daily basis. The roof also falls off, as the bracket and support is not sufficient to take its weight.

This is due to design and not our construction.

Very disappointed and a complete waste of money

Very pleased with the quality of the structure of this coop. Instructions good and easy to assemble. Surprised at how small the run looked but had forgotten to take into account that the nesting box was incorporated in the overall measurement. Will eventually need additional run. Chickens seem happy in their new home. Very prompt delivery.

No pre drilled holes so make that up as you go along, alot of the wood split as we put it together, picture and description by manufacturer does not match product as its quite flimsy.door could do with another latch as one rattle by friendly Mr fox and chickens would be no more, very much doubt manufacturers read these reviews, which is a shame.

Delivery excellent. Being used for 2 baby rabbits so they must feel like they're in a mansion! Hubby says was it was easy to put together - few odd bits but nothing he couldn't cope with. Loads of room for them so be interesting to see how it stands up to the wet weather we're sure to have but so far, very happy with it.

THIS COOP AND RUN IS EASY TO PUT TOGETHER, IT IS STURDY AND SAFE FOR MY 3 BANTAMS THE RUN WAS A LITTLE SMALL BUT WE EASILY CONSTRUCTED A RUN ON THE BACK TAKING A WIRE PANEL OUT FOR A WALK THROUGH.THE DOOR MECHANISM IS A GOOD IDEA TOO.

The hen house is very good value although we may later add an extra perch. It only took 2 hours to put up - would have been less if we had read the instructions properly! Delivery superb- in fact it arrived the next day
