I received this as a present when my son was nine months old and he's still using it at nearly two-and-a-half, which is pretty good going. Like most toys of this nature, it's made of fairly brittle plastic with various parts being added or subtracted depending on the age of your child. I thought the rocker option was pretty rubbish, as did my son who couldn't wait to upgrade to the wheeled option. The parent handle coupling cracked at the back which was a bit rubbish, especially as we weren't causing undue pressure on it.
The console unit seems pretty sturdy even after my son found out how to remove it from the dashboard and drop it(!) The two tunes are a bit annoying after a while and it's good that there's a slightly quieter option for irritated parents. My son also likes storing his Thomas trains in the flip up seat, which is a bit odd, but apparently normal Overall, there's a lot of kit for the money but it's always worth remembering to supervise your child because it tips rather easily!
