This arrived with the spring in the handle hanging out, after easing it back in every time I pulled the handle the spring came out. I tried to use this gadget with some cake batter and nothing came out. If you make cakes a lot like me then this is utter rubbish the only thing this might be good for is pancake batter, and to be honest you might as well use a jug. In a word this is a complete waste of money, take my tip don't bother. Needless to say I returned the item.

I was concerned by some of the poor reviews I'd read about this product but for me it works just great! The batter I use is quite thin so I have no problem in pouring it out, but if you use a thick batter then this product would be a no-no. The jug is nice and big. I get 12 cupcakes out of my batter but I could easily double that up. The base is angled towards the middle, so you don't get batter wasted on the sides. My only criticism would be that the handle's mechanism could be smoother, hence 4 rather than 5 stars.I was using an ice cream scoop to portion my cupcake batter and was forever getting drips all over the place, not to mention the mess from scraping it against the side of the bowl. With this product I get no mess at all - brilliant!

A great way to save yourself lots of unnecessary mess and extra batter equals extra cake! This really does what it says on the packaging. Great product.
