About the Author
After being inspired by making her own wedding cake in 2005, Zoe Clark turned passion into profession. She worked with some of the UK s leading cake designers, including Peggy Porschen, and went on to launch Zoe Clark Cakes at the National Wedding Show, where her stand was labelled the Piece de Resistance by You and Your Wedding magazine. Zoe lives in London.

Clear instructions, good recipes - I use Zoe's vanilla sponge as my standard recipe now, as it gives a really nice high cake. I have also been totally converted by Zoe to bake all my sponge cakes in two tins. The book has some nice cakes designs, definitely given me some inspiration to do a variation on their themes.

Beautiful and delicious!

Of course Zoe Clark makes beautiful romantic cakes but what I really wanted to know was if the recipes were just as good. I am a pastry chef and have been decorating buttercream cakes for over 12 years so I am an "experienced" baker. So far I have tried the classic vanilla sponge and it is amazingly good. Just followed her recipe and method. So good. I can't wait to try her carrot cake recipe!

Zoe Clark has long been one of my favorite sugar artists, and this book confirms this fact yet again! Her use of color and technique is unsurpassed. The best part about her ideas is how she shows you how they can be adapted to your specific needs. Great book Zoe! Keep 'em coming!! :D
