The thing I liked most about this book was the section on techniques as I'm a beginner to jewellery making and found them easy to follow. It also has some really beautiful projects which are good for getting inspiration. In the back there is a list of resources for each project which I really liked as I was able to order some really beautiful beads form a website they recommended. Although this book isn't quite enough to get all your information as a beginner it's a great taster and I'd definitely recommend it.

An attractive beginner's book. The 'how to' section is quite short, but the book is a useful addition to any learner with nice projects.
Personally, I did not feel this book was enough alone, I needed other books to complete my library of how to's, but it is still good.

Chic and Unique Beaded Jewellery is a lovely book for both beginners and more experienced jewellery makers. The instructions are very clear and there are plenty of lovely photos to refer to. Some of the designs use very simple techniques so I think this book is suitable for everyone. I'm not sure I would describe all of the designs as being chic and unique, but there are certainly lots of lovely modern, fresh designs here.
