Are you looking for a really decent book about working seriously with beads? A book packed with real information? If you are, then you are looking at the right book. Plenty of photographs, accurate bead descriptions and varied projects. I've had over ten years experience in the bead and jewellery industry, and we've all seen the useless books before! The beading "How To" books that take up two glossy pages with a project of one large bead on a bit of bent wire making a "simple pendant". This is NOT one of those books.

It's a comprehensive reference work including how to use gimp (also called french wire, bullion, necklet ends), knot onto silk, (most books miss this out), rich multi strand and lariat projects. And, the nicely photographed projects are tasteful. There are no "cute" beaded animal shapes or ghastly suggestions involving plastic facetted beads made into the shape of christmas snowflakes. If you get my drift.

A worthwhile addition to any jewellery maker's shelves. Highly recommended.
