Product Description

Just read her latest book, it is set in 1910, which for me is a good start, and I found it a powerful saga, the characters
in the story are very absorbing, you get swept along with the adventures, though at one stage you think that Mattie has landed
on her feet, but "baddies" are not far of.

This, for me, is yet another very good example of Anna Jacob's work.
The only problem is that it's not long enough, I'd like these books to go on forever!!
I enjoyed it but have been left wondering - is there going to be a sequel that will tell us what happened to the other characters? I certainly hope so.

I really enjoyed this book, it was just the right length for me to read on holiday. When I came back home I read the next book Elm Tree Road both were a great read and left me hoping there would be a 3rd book as I wanted to hear more. This isnt a bad way to leave a book, rather than feeling the book was too long. I recommend that you buy both books together, you wont be disapointed. I am now reading more books by Anna Jacobs and so far I havent been let down.
