First Sentence
We've all seen the incredible stories of chemical sensitivity in the newspapers, magazines, and television documentaries in the last 15 years: people who suddenly developed undiagnosable problems, who have to live out of doors to survive, who wear masks in public buildings, and are excluded from the environment. Read the first page

3.0 out of 5 stars too airy fairy for me 29 July 2013
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
Book condition worth price and P&P
content too rambling, difficult to remain focused on content. no really helpful information on how to cope with this or prevent worsening effects on health.
Good for increasing feelings of paranoia about large companies, health professionals and a bigoted, thoughtless inconsiderate general public.

Rather technical. Not an easy read. I will persevere though as believe detoxing in this modern western world in particular is essential to health.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good fast introduction to chemical sensitivity 2 Aug 1998
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
This is a short book, that is good for introducing you to MCS (Multiple Chemical Sensitivity), so you can determine if you might have it. It gives an idea on how complicated this disease is, some of the multiple ways you can get it, and some of the possible cures. Recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sherry was my doctor! 2 Feb 2001
By susiesunshine - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
Sherry Rogers was my doctor for a number of years. She was always ahead of her time and now it shows! All of her books are wonderful, informative, easy to read and life saving. I hope everyone gets as much from this and all her books as I have. You'll be amazed at how much you DON'T know about your body, the environment and how we are killing ourselves until you read these books. Trust me, I am only a consumer here, but I pass these books on to everyone I care about and have for years! I'm going to post this to all the books I have read by Sherry. I just can't say enough about this woman. She literally saved my life (allergies, life and health threatening mineral and vitamin deficiencies) and my husband's too (bladder cancer). Love, Susan Manchester

I've been severely chemically sensitive for nearly 8 years, and this booklet is the very best explanation of the illness I have ever seen. I'm ordering a big batch to give to friends and family.

5.0 out of 5 stars opened my eyes 18 May 2010
By Amazon Customer - Published on Amazon.com

My doctor recommended this book and others by Sherry Rogers. I have been in treatment for metal toxicity (i.v. chelation therapy) and it has entirely changed my health. I had become hyper sensitive to everything! I was even beginning to wonder if it was all in head (that's that a lot of doctors will tell you when they don't know), because day by day another set up symptoms would show up. Since I have lowered my toxin levels, even my seasonal allergies have cleared up! I suffered for many, many years. This book makes the issues clear and should help anyone suffering with health problems and who is looking for answers. Detox, detox, detox. It works!

5.0 out of 5 stars GOOD REFERENCE AND A QUICK READ!!! 7 Dec 2007
By Miss Sunshine - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
I was diagnosed with Chemical Injury almost 2 years ago, and this book provides a good overview of Multiple Chemical Sensitivity. I've given copies to most of my friends and health care providers to educate them. Thanks for writing it Sherry!

For a longer and more in depth look at Chemical Injury, Lynn Lawson's books and Theron Randolph's books are also very informative. Also, one should review the Global Report MCS website for more brochures, books and resources. Best of luck.
