I bought this book for my racing mad mother, who also happens to live in Cheltenham. The pictures are superb and Mick Fitzgerald is a great wordsmith. It's a fascinating mix of history, facts and memoirs about one of the most prestigious race courses in the UK. If you're stuck for a gift for anyone who looks forward to the Cheltenham Festival, then I recommend this book !
