Bought these for 9 yr old but he couldn't put them on himself as the wrists were too tight. I helped him squeeze into them and once on they were fine, although a bit plasticky and I expect not very hardwearing. Will get a refund and either go for youths or another brand. If your child has slim wrists they'd be fine but still probably hard to put on unaided.
