I've just bought one of these (from our local store) and would highly recommend it.

Boy, is this thing heavy duty!

We usually burn "Cobbles" which are enormous pieces of coal that burn fiercely hot and last a very long time, however, our old fire grates have barely lasted a couple of months before they burn through. This one is nearly twice the weight of our old one and the casting is very thick and well finished, so we're hoping that this will last a goodly long time.
